Explore unschooling with Pam Laricchia, Anna Brown, and Erika Ellis. We want to help parents figure out how to apply bigger picture unschooling ideas in their everyday lives.
Pam Laricchia began the podcast in 2016 and it now has more than 300 episodes in its rich archive, which you’ll find below. The podcast has gone through a number of shifts and changes over the years, but the focus has never changed: exploring unschooling.
Choosing to live and learn without school isn’t as intimidating as you might imagine. Children really do enjoy learning when it’s driven by curiosity rather than curriculum, and the strong and trusting relationships that develop in unschooling families are priceless.
“I’m not the type of person that practices gratitude… but with this, I frequently find myself feeling so incredibly grateful I found this podcast. It has changed so much for me. I cannot begin to express my joy and gratitude at having repaired my relationship with my daughter! I never imagined we could be so close. I was going to a therapist for anxiety… but unschooling, with Pam’s guidance, is helping me so much more than any therapy has. My relationship with my spouse is also better! I just can’t imagine, my worldview has changed so much, and how many positive changes that has brought to my life. Thank you, Pam. Thank you.”
“This has been by far one of the most fulfilling podcasts I’ve listened to over the last year. As a relatively new unschooler, I learn so much from every episode and have often gone back and re-listened to a handful of my favourites. Funny thing is, I always pick up more when I listen to them a second time. Pam’s voice is comforting and her ideas and perspective are always eye-opening both in unschooling and parenting. I’m so thankful to Pam for creating this podcast. I love it!”
“When I first discovered unschooling last spring this was one of the first podcasts I found. I devoured all the episodes and look forward to every Thursday when a new one is posted. I’m always so encouraged and feel like I can relax. It makes me want to be a better parent and continue to work on my family relationships. I love listening to different perspectives and creative ways of approaching day to day life and education.”
“This podcast has been life changing! Definitely confirms I am doing the right thing by not sending my 5 year old to kindergarten this year!”
“As a new(ish) unschooling parent, I am finding this podcast to be very informative and helpful. Pam has brought many interesting voices and perspectives together. I am learning a lot and also finding it inspiring as well! Thanks so much for creating it!”
